On 13 October, an unauthorised party gained access to the business email account of an Element NL employee. The account was used to send phishing emails containing a fake document that asked recipients to provide their login details.
As soon as we became aware of the incident, we disabled the account and stopped further emails from being sent. We also launched an IT investigation immediately. That investigation has now been completed and confirmed that no personal or other data was accessed or stolen.
If you received one of these emails, do not open the document or enter your login details. If you have already done so, contact your IT support team and change your password. Element NL regrets the inconvenience caused.
