Small fields (& code of conduct)

The gas sector understands that there is a need for greater transparency and involvement of stakeholders in oil and gas projects. For this reason, Element NL has published its “Code of Conduct for Gas Production from Small Fields”. During the transition period there will still be demand for natural gas, and as long as the Netherlands still has available reserves, Dutch natural gas is our preferred option. This is exactly why the sector aims to be a committed, reliable and approachable player in environments where gas is produced. The Code of Conduct sets out general guidelines for the careful involvement of community stakeholders in small onshore projects.
